"Left this outside for a month..." 2010-01-08
By Jamie Call
I bought this a couple months ago and I really really liked it. Then one day it went missing. I was so sad. This morning, I was outside and I found it laying on top of my BBQ, where it has been for at least the last month in the snow and temperatures very infrequently above freezing. I hesitantly turned it on. It worked. It works as well as it has ever worked, which is awesome. The battery lasts forever, the sound quality is really good for the price, and it is SO durable. If your mp3 players are prone to mishaps buy this and also a little case for it and you will be in super shape.

"I love this little thing!" 2010-01-07
By Joseph J. Cassiba (Phoenix, Arizona)
This is a great little MP3 player. My wife bought me one for Christmas two years ago. Unfortunately my kids broke it. I liked it so much that I bought another one. My favorite feature is it's small size and the fact it comes with a clip. I can clip it almost anywhere and it stays in place during exercising or doing projects around the house. Despite its small size, it still has many features and good sound. I highy recommend this product.

 "Sandisk sansa MP3 player" 2010-01-07
By Terry Mitchell
Was purchased the SanDisk Sansa Clip 2 to help make CD to MP3 transfer and function navigation easier than the generic MP3 player we had. Its much better in both respects.

 "Super" 2010-01-07

This little device is great to take anywhere and be listening to a story. It is easy to turn on and off and remembers where it is in the story.

"My moms loves it and she's not techy" 2009-12-29
By A. Schneider
My mom can't use a computer, she just doesn't know how to because she's stubborn, but she loves this little thing, I was shocked that I didn't have to show her everything step by step, she picked up how to operate it pretty quick, unfortunately though I underestimated how much music she likes. So next Christmas I'm gonna have to buy her a 2 gb.

"Exactly What I was looking for" 2009-12-16
By Gregory Grace (Cleveland, OH)
This is exactly what I needed. Just a simple MP3 player. Its small, very easy to use, and the FM radio was a great surprise.

 "Easy to operate" 2009-12-14
By Trinette Terry (chicago, il United States)
I had an iPod 4th gen. I liked it, but I gave it to my son because I really didn't like having to download itunes to get my music. For that reason, I will never buy another iPod. You can't even access or delete your own music, without going through itunes. It was a time consuming hassle and their customer service is not so good. With this...charge it and you can download music directly from your media library. Also, sansa includes a little disk to use for downloading music from their recommended site. This is an option, not a necessity. Their music is free. This is perfect. It's half the size of an ipod, it has a belt clip and you "press down" controls to operate.

This is perfect for working out, because when your hands get sweaty, you can still easily search out and change up your music, without the controls locking. That's another problem with the iPod; the swivel control, if using when working out. Try operating the nano with a little sweat on your hands, the control sticks and won't budge, you have to stop and wipe it off and dry your hands. It's a distraction. With sansa, deletions are easy...just press delete and what you no longer want is gone. It comes with ear buds, but I purchased a Sony headset that clips behind the ears to go along with this. It sounds great. I have 90 songs placed on my sansa and I have room for more. The capacity is just fine for my needs.

Get your scissors out. The only thing I didn't like is the clam packaging. This baby is sealed super tight.

"I love it for listening to books" 2009-12-12
By C. Alexander (California, USA)
I love it for listening to books. So far it has been better than my last MP3 player. It is small and very light, I may have to take up running again and you would not even know you were carrying it. Thank you Amazon.

"Terrible longevity. I went through three in less than a year." 2009-12-12
By N. Greene (Elkins Park, PA USA)
The Sansa Clip makes a great initial impression. Its portable, has fm radio and plays multiple formats. However, its longevity is dismal. I wanted to like it. But then I went through three in less than a year. One of which was a warranty replacement. In short, after using it on an almost daily basis for 1-2 hours each day, the player would freeze, fail to charge or just die. Three times this happened. After the third one died, I had enough, I was not going to keep buying a product that can't last a year. The aggravation was just not worth it. There are too many inexpensive MP3 players on the market to reward this one with a good review.

"**WARNING** These are NOT free with Blue Proton order. (Scam??!)" 2009-12-16
By ac (United States)
***WARNING*** If you are ordering this item thinking you will get it for free as one of Blue Proton's advertised "specials" for buying one of their other items, DON'T! I did, and the cost in the cart was NOT affected at all. Worse, soon after placing the order, I received an email stating that the primary item (an SD card for $[...]) was not available, so the order was summarily canceled by them. I figured the earbuds, as the freebie included with the order, would also be canceled. This is how any other merchant would handle this situation. Nope, not Blue Proton. Next thing I knew, I received a shipping confirmation email stating the earbuds had already been shipped, and they charged me for postage. So these "free" earbuds cost me $8.94: $4.95 for the earbuds and another $[...] for shipping. Smells suspiciously like a scam to me. It's not worth returning them and having to pay shipping to do so. Can you say RIPOFF?!!

As to how the actual earbuds perform, I'll update this review when I get them, I guess. Just wanted to get a warning out there since a lot of people are probably falling for this.
